“Useful gets heard” what I mean by this phrase is that you can’t passively sit back and wait people necessarily hear you. For this there are different ways of making yourself useful and heard e.g you can use this tool followerwonk which lets you search through people on twitter and do a lot of data mining with different twitter biography’s and twitter accounts.
Say I’m selling a product for puppy’s I’ll search the word puppy on followerwonk and it let me knows all those people who used the word puppy in their twitter biography and I can take few of those people and find overlap between them and find the people they have in common and
then I reach out to these people very politely or wait for one of them to ask question and when I answer that question I make sure that they come back to me and know I’m useful to them. I make myself super useful to get heard and then they reach out to other people for me and those reach to other people by this also I’m growing my market.
